KARACHI: A police encounter in Sherpao colony near Qua
idabad resulted in the death of at least three dacoits on Tuesday.
According to police, the accused looted a man, Dilawar Khan, at gunpoint near the Maula Dad Graveyard in Sherpao and fle
d the scene on their bike. The police chase
d the suspects and tried to catch them. In a firing exchange w
ith the police all three dacoits were killed.
Police have shifte
d the bodies to Edhi morgue for identifica
tion.
Weapons, motorcycle and stolen equipment were confiscated from the suspects’ pos
session.
